Its primary responsibilities:

• Regular monitoring of the welfare and participation of SC/ST students and faculty in academic and extracurricular activities.
• Providing support and guidance to SC/ST students and faculty members in addressing their concerns and ensuring their rights are upheld.
• Organizing awareness programs and workshops to educate the college community about the issues faced by SC/ST individuals and promoting inclusivity.
• Addressing grievances and complaints related to discrimination or any form of unfair treatment faced by SC/ST students and faculty.
