Welcome to the Office of Controller of Examinations

The Controller of Examinations (CoE) office is responsible for the announcement of academic calendar which includes all the academic related activities, conducting the End semester examinations, Processing and publishing results in time. Compile Grades and declare results after approval by Result Passing Board (RPB), Issuing certificates such as Statement of Grade, Consolidated Statements of Grade. Sending a list of successful candidate with their Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) to the Anna University, Chennai for issuing Provisional and Degree Certificate. Every academic year, students take up End semester examinations in November and April.

The Controller of Examination also ensures a smooth functioning of the continuous assessment tests. Other responsibilities of this office are addressing grievances of students on examination related issues and to execute the planned developmental activities of this office including Board of Studies, Academic Council, and Governing Council etc

The roles and responsibilities of the office are:

• Preparing the Time Table, Exam Hall Arrangements, and Exam Hall Invigilators for both Internal and End Semester Examinations.
• Conducting the Continuous Internal Assessment Tests and End Semester Examinations.
• Processing and publishing results on time.
• Sending a list of successful candidates with their Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) to Anna University, Chennai, for issuing Provisional and Degree Certificates.
• Issuing certificates such as Grade Sheet, Consolidated Statement of Grades, Transcript, CGPA to Percentage, Bonafide Certificate, Online Genuineness Verification, etc.

Objectives

• To ensure the proper performance of various duties involved in conducting examinations.
• To ensure confidentiality throughout the examination and evaluation processes among students, faculty, parents, and other stakeholders of the institute.
• To promote transparent assessment policies through the use of the latest technologies.
• To declare examination results within the shortest possible time.
