CMS College of Engineering has established an anti-ragging committee in accordance with the 'UGC Regulation on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2007'. The committee is dedicated to enforcing the principles outlined in the UGC Regulation and relevant laws, aiming to prevent and eliminate the practice of ragging. This initiative aligns with the directives of the Governments of India and the State of Tamil Nadu to create a safe and conducive learning environment for all students.

The objectives of the anti-ragging committee at CMS College of Engineering are:

The objective is to proscribe, deter, and eradicate the blight of ragging, encompassing any behaviour by students, whether verbal or written, or through actions that entail teasing, disrespecting, or handling fresher’s or other students with rudeness, as well as engaging in disorderly or undisciplined conduct. The goal is to ensure a respectful and supportive environment for all students, fostering a culture of dignity, mutual respect, and responsible behaviour within the college community.

The objective is to supervise, guide, and oversee the activities and effectiveness of the Anti-Ragging Squads in preventing and addressing ragging incidents within the institution

By supervising and guiding the Anti-Ragging Squads, the institution aims to create a safe and supportive environment conducive to learning and personal development for all students.
